About Explore Tours
Explore Tours offers travels different from any other travels you have ever experienced. We want to offer you a trip that is fun, interesting and gives you memories for life. Thanks to the extensive knowledge of our leaders they will take you to places that are impossible for the average tourist to find. We will guide you to meetings with the local population which will open your eyes and senses. Our journeys will not give you luxury in things but in experiences, and you will get the best imaginable care. We will be there if you need us, but whenever you want you can go off on your own to make discoveries!
Our journeys include much more than lots of sun, lovely swimming, nice food and drinks. We arrange meetings before departure which you can attend to if you wish. We can advise you on literature, movies and other sources of information so that you can prepare yourself before going if you would like to. Our nice and trained leaders will remain with you from start to finish, from Sweden to Tanzania and back. You don’t have to go with the group all the time but there will always be scheduled things to do for those who want.
Explore Tours takes responsibility for the way we travel. We travel by so-called “Fair Travelling”. This means that we strive for that the money we spend at our destinations goes to the local population. We also donate part of our profit to different local aid projects through professional organizations. Furthermore donations are made to children’s homes, hospitals and education, the extent depending on how many travellers are on the trip. Finally we work towards the goal of sustainable travelling. This means among other things that we compensate for the long flights by planting trees.
Explore Tours is owned by Explorius Education AB, a big company on the Nordic market for educational travelling, but also by the personnel working in the company. Explore Tours has lodged security with Swedish Authorities for all travelers to have a travel guarantee.
